ohkae ... well here's what happened ... on friday we [the fri 5, that is] celebrated the yidmar's 18th birthday!! woo-hoo!! so we started our day at marissa's for cheesecake and presents at 2:00-ish. she liked all the presents except for one of them i'm sure. but here's the run down ... staci got her an alice and cheeshire cat doll/toy ... and tammi got her the nicholas d. wolfwood action figure ... and laura got her a framed picture of the fri 5, a boo! note [oh, a birthday boo! note], a ralph t-shirt, and a rubbing stone ... OH! I ALMOST FORGOT ... a small mountain of paper, tape, foil, newspaper, and miscellaneous other wrapping material. and i got manic maris tiki stationary and two u.s. bombs c.d.s ... i hope she like all her gifts. well, we left the vidmar residence at 3:00-ish and went to an "undisclosed location" which was nickel nickel ... haha ... and we ended up leaving at 8:00-ish because marissa and laura have an obsession with that game that's like ddr for your hands ... yeah ... and we took marissa to a second secret location ... todai!! ... yum yum yum ... but there was a lil drama when it came down to eating dinner ... see ...they close at 10:00 and it seemed like we just started eating when they announced that they'd be closing in 15 minutes ... there was a mad scramble to the buffet lines and people started putting food on plates and just carrying them back to the table so that they'd have something when the workers started clearing away the trays they'd still have food ... so we ate on ... and when all of us couldn't breathe anymore we left. we all waddled to the car and thought of somewhere else to go and decided on lolo's and my hang out ... border's ... since they don't close until 11:00. so we all went to find some new manga to read but ended up just reading silly childrens books until this annoying guy announced that they, too, were closing in 15 minutes so we left ... without buying anything ... hehe ... and we decided to go kareoke for an hour at top ten. there was a white poodle there that reminded me a lot of fifi ... he just looked at us all uninterested and put his head down like he was really sleepy ... haha ... it was a real cutie. but then after our hour and ten minutes [that we actually had to pay for] we took tammi and staci home and gave them an applaud they couldnt hear. then an oppassum scurried in front of my car ... and we were thoroughly freaked out ... and on the way to laura's house we took a short trip to ralph's to buy some scratchers for maris and the parking structure at the at&t building ... we did a couple doughtnuts and then left. after everyone was home i decided to try and write the blog and all that poo happened ... blah ... ohkae ... that's all about marissa's birthday ... hehe ... so yeah ... i hope she enjoyed it all and that she's a very happy 18 year old!!
