yay. today was a good and fun day. i woke up late [woohoo!!] and went to the thai temple of los angeles [aka wat thai] with my dad. it was pretty cool. i mean, when we get there, there's a massive amounts of cars and even more people who don't know how to drive!! but luckily my dad finds this space where a guy is just about to finish parking and we ask him to inch up a little bit and wooooo!! the accord squeezes into a space not far from the temple at all. ooooh!! for those of you that don't know, it was thai new years and there's a good amount of celebrating going on at wat thai. so now you're all caught up. hehe. so when we're walking to the temple i see some old friends of mine [mac, oat & hut] they're about to leave. boo. but it's okay, they were bored. haha. so, tra-la-la-la-la we walk on and my dad says, "the most important thing is going into the big temple to pray first. then you can do whatever you want." so we do that. there were sooo many ghetto looking thai girls up there with their bald boyfriends. it's pretty funny. on any other day there would only be devout old ladies at the temple. hehe. well, the moment i step out of the temple and put my shoes on i see my mom carrying a box of ribbons. i run up to her and she gets all scared. it's pretty funny, but she tells me that she's already getting ready to leave [since it's already 4pm]. but whatever, i'm here to see the sites. hehe. well, right behind her i see some more of my old friends [paula, pauly, & nash] they just got there too. it was already starting to get cold and daddy kept saying that it was going to rain. but he saw a lot of his friends so i don't think he was too worried about rain. haha. anyway, he gave me some money and told me to go play nice with the other kiddies. paula kept me the most company. nash was busy telling teddy to get his ass to the temple. and pauly was busy trying to find a girl that he likes in the crowd. hahaha. well, let me fill you in some more on the "scenery" as it were. in the parking lot there are no cars, only rows and rows of tents. all along the outer wall the tents are selling yummy smelling thai food. and all of the center tents are selling random things from clothes to gifts to plants. most of the tents are selling thai style clothes though. anyway, after walking around and around pauly says that hut is coming back to pick them up and paula gets very worried because her dad's coming back to wat thai to pick them up at 7. but whatever, mac and hut show up again and take nash and pauly to teddy's house. paula's left with me since i'm such a loser and have no one to talk to ... but then daddy decides that he's done and that it looks even more possible for the clouds to just burst open and rain cats and dogs on us so he decides to go to teddy's house too. paula's still worried about her dad coming and getting all pissed, so we tell pumin [who is there in a tent selling stuff with his mommy.] to tell paula's dad to go to teddy's when he gets there. by that time it's 6:45-ish and we're at teddy's house. when i go in, the first thing i hear is, "where is your dad?" since he was taking off his shoes outside still. anyway, i walk down the hall where the bedrooms are and i only see eric, pear, and paul-lek. i was thinking "aww man they're not even here!" but then downt he hall comes teddy. YAY! he's the one i'm really glad to see. i haven't seen all of them in sooo long i still think of them as really young. and now teddy, pauly, and mac drive. it's a weird feeling since i still feel like i'm not growing up and they are. argh. hehe. well, let's see, the last time i was at teddy's house he and eric were still sharing a room and now the computer room is teddy's room and eric has their old room all to himself. teddy's room is soo nice, there are two computers and his bed's really nice and there's a couch!! it's nice, but i like eric's room too, there are rock toon pictures along one wall and linkin park posters!! ahh, i was so happy. hehe. so we hang out and talk and, you know, stuff until like 8:15, which is really early for me to be leaving hehe, but it's okay, since i'm on spring break i think i wanna go up there and hang out some more. oooo. maybe even during the day time. hehe.

OH MY GOD, i totally forgot to write about my tongue piercing!! haha, well, on friday i went to outer limits in anaheim and the piercer wasn't there so i had to drive all the way to orange since their piercer was there. anyway, the guy working the counter was the one that did my tattoo!! i didn't even remember his name until the piercer [jesse] said, "something something something something, josh." so, there we go. hehe. anyway, i go to the back room and fill out the necassary papers and have my id copied. jesse then tells me to sit on this table that looks like one in a doctor's office and tells me to rinse my mouth out with this really mild mouth wash. he talks me through the procedure before hand and then we do it. whoever said that tongue piercings don't hurt was a liar and should be punished justly!! it hurt. a lot. i mean it's a big neddle going all the way through your tongue!! god, i was an idiot to think it wouldnt hurt. and i realized that i wasn't really prepared for a tongue ring. anyway, i felt the needle push in, and then the jewlery slide through. it was pretty cool now that i think about it, but at that moment i wanted to throw up on him. anyway, after he screws in the ball on the bottom he walks me to the counter and tells me how to keep it clean so it doesn't turn into a keloid. THANK YOU JESUS!! my mouth feels funny and i'm a little afraid of talking but i told pam that i was going to call her right after and tell her that i did it. when i talked to her it didnt hurt at all, it just felt, different since i'm not used to talking with a bead sitting on my tongue. anyway, i have to go to trader joe's for some sea salt and wal mart for some distilled water and i head home. i start drinking a lot of cold water and letting ice sit on my tongue, which i think really helped since my tongue didn't swell at all. but when my mom came home she kept talking to me and it was really hard for me to use few words to answer her. but it's okay, then i remember to take some advil since jesse said it would help a lot. hehe. and here's where i realize for the second time that i wasn't really prepared for a tongue ring. i filled my mouth with ice water and throw the pill into my mouth. then i swallow. and i'm thinking "great! i didn't even swallow the pill!!" so i fill my mouth with water again and swallow a little harder. and then i realized i was trying to swallow the ball. jeez. anyway, it's the third day and i actually ate something. and my tongue really didn't swell. it's pretty good now i just can't stick my tongue too far out of my mouth and coughing hurts. but, for the third day it's really good. and at wat thai paula was there to witness my first attempt at solid food requiring chewing. i bought a chicken satay with my last dollar and actually ate it!! even though i was eating all slow and slightly retarded looking, i ate it!! it was my first solid food in 3 days! all i has was water, ice and popsicles. YAY CHICKEN SATAY!! hahaha ... okay, this blog is incredibly long and if you actually read the whole thing tell me and i'll give you a prize. :E bye bye!!
